The experiment should take approximately 5 minutes and involves memorising a short series of words, then answering some questions. You may be asked to watch a short video which contains no offensive content.

You have the right to withdraw your consent and end your participation in the study at any point, without providing a reason: should you wish to do this, please inform the researcher. If, at the end of the study, you wish for your results to be deleted, this is possible; please inform the researcher, who will delete your data for you.

Your personal data and results will remain confidential - the data will be anonymised and used to draw generalised conclusions.

At the end of the experiment, you will be provided with a debrief form explaining the aims and background of the study in greater detail, and listing contact details for the researcher and other organisations which may be of use.
